The following training groups and squads are used by a number of club members. Come join us for some great training and plenty of fun.
Triathlon Specific Squads
Youth Squad
New for the season 2011/12 the club is organising a youth squad for secondary school aged juniors. Full information on the squad can be found by clicking here. If you are interested you can register on-line here.
First Timers
Training sessions to help first timers (or newer athletes) get started in triathlon. Sessions cover swim, bike, and run disciplines, as well as transitions, and preparation for events. More details available in September. In the meantime contact info@wgtntriathlon.org.nz with any questions.
Ultimate Trihards Triathlon Squad

Taupo and Rotorua Half Ironman Squad

Swim
Club swim sessions
Saturdays 7am – 8am at Kilbirnie pool. The club has a lane booking and everyone is welcome. Pay your pool entry as usual then the swim session is free to join. Details and reminders are posted on http://www.facebook.com/WellingtonTriathlonClub each week.

Group rides

Run
Scottish Athletics Club
Many of our club members run with Scottish Athletics. Pack runs 2pm on Saturdays. Usually leave from Scottish Clubrooms, Prince of Wales Park, Mt. Cook, Wellington. Full details at http://www.scottishathletics.org.nz.
